Ito ang flag carrier, with Filipino crew and support. Its Riyadh flights PR654/PR655 are suspended until Nov 29, 2026 (PAL advisory). PAL also has a free first rebooking promo on Manila–Riyadh tickets: one date change with no rebooking fee if you ask at least 15 days before departure and by Nov 15, 2026. It doesn't cover major seat-sale fares (PAL announcement).
Many OFWs pick Saudia, the Saudi flag carrier, because some fares include generous checked baggage. How many bags you get depends on the fare type (Saver, Basic or Flex), so check the allowance before you pay (Saudia baggage). Saudia is flying, but some Manila flights have been rerouted, so confirm your departure airport in Manage My Booking.

The GO Basic fare includes only a 7 kg carry-on; checked baggage is an add-on and is cheaper when you buy it online than at the airport (CEB baggage guide). Riyadh flights are cancelled until Oct 31, 2026, with no restart date yet (CEB advisory).
Riyadh Air is the newest airline on the route. It started Riyadh–Manila flights on Sept 9, 2026 with Boeing 787-9s (Riyadh Air). The timetable has changed several times since the airport closure. If your Riyadh Air trip was scheduled up to Nov 7, 2026, you can rebook free for travel up to Nov 30, or ask for a full refund (travel update). Some of its routes now leave from Al Qassim, but Manila isn't one of them (list).
Kapag puno o suspended ang direct flights, Gulf airlines can connect you to Manila via Doha (Qatar Airways), Dubai (Emirates), Abu Dhabi (Etihad), Bahrain (Gulf Air) or Muscat (Oman Air). Several of these have paused their own Riyadh flights since October, so check the latest status on our Flight Alerts page. Compare total travel time and baggage, not just the price. flynas has no non-stop Manila flight, so any flynas trip to Manila would include a stop (flynas.com). If Riyadh is still restricted, also compare Dammam or Jeddah to Manila.
